7 random facts...

I just got tagged!

Tagged for what?
I guess kind of like the kiddy games, except instead of feeling anxiety from being the loser kid on the playground that couldn't outrun anyone else, it's even more of the anxiety of being a bit more vulnerable... because I'm supposed to share seven random facts about myself.

I can't see how exciting this can get - but I'll give it a go.

First things first, I got tagged by Mayhem Arts! Take a look around her Etsy shop - her beads and photographs are amazing. :)

Here we go, I guess!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Rules:
1. Link to your tagger and list these rules on your blog.
2. Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog, some random, some weird.
3. Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blog.
4. Let them know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

Seven Random Facts About Steppie

1. I majored in Sociology and minored in Management. May be normal for some, but a little odd when you meet me and realize what I've been up to nowadays. I just graduated from UC Irvine, and could have majored in Studio Art (which makes a lot more sense since that's exactly what I'm doing now... making art), but I was intimidated... and really didn't think I was good enough. I guess that makes me completely self-taught.

2. My middle name is the sound your computer makes when there's an error. Pronounced "Eep!," my middle name is spelled E-a-p... which is actually my mother's maiden name.

3. My eyebrows are tattoo'd. OK, your initial reaction will probably be a little grossed out. I know that's how I felt before I went to go do it... but when you inherit very light eyebrows from your parents and waste 5 minutes out of every morning to draw them... it's no fun. They look natural, and many people can't tell or forget that they are. Still don't believe me? Then look for yourself:

4. I touched John Legend's body. OK, so it was like 5 seconds. And it was at a concert. And other girls were doing the same. But I still get to say I did, and not many people can... so, I TOUCHED JOHN LEGEND'S BODY!

5. I am a recent alum of the hip hop crew, CADC. I talk about the team a lot because it's a big part of my life, but a lot of bloggers probably don't know what I'm talking about. We're a team of 30 or so that perform around UC Irvine and compete at big hip hop competitions in Southern California... and actually competed against amazing crews this past summer in Vegas at Hip Hop Internationals. Here are some of our videos:

6. One of my hamsters can backflip. Correction, could... she passed away and went to humpster heaven a couple weeks ago. But to celebrate Dip'n'Dots and how amazing she was:

7. My jump-start into Etsy actually started from participating in a decor community. I document this in my first few blog posts, but it's the support from those people in those communities who saw the artwork in my bedroom that encouraged me to believe in myself and my work. And today, here I am... about 3-4 months in from starting my Etsy shop with 44 sales, a few more outside of Etsy, and hopefully even more to come!

Woo - 7 is a big number!

But now it's my time to be evil and tag some new victims:

1. MadeByGirl
2. AlwaysAmy
3. Simply, Me
4. Stelabird
5. LittleBlackBox
6. loveretrocolour
7. Tizzalicious

TAG - YOU'RE IT!

Nice facts! I specifically liked the tattoo-d eyebrow one, did it hurt? I think my mum got them done too, I can't remember! (which is good because they obviously look natural to the fact that I can't remember if she actually got them done, or was just talking about it!)

nuvonova,

It didn't hurt since they numbed the area. I think just having to sit there while they poke at my face made me a little uncomfortable if I thought about it too much!

LOL, but I don't regret it at all. Now I have eyebrows like everyone else! Hehe.

Steppie

I actually already did this a couple of time, so I won't do it again, but it was fun to read your facts! :)
