I've been experimenting with wood quite a bit for my art, and these pieces proved to be some of my favorites. There's something raw and organic about putting charcoal and pencil onto a smooth piece of wood. Maybe it's the feeling of going back to the basics... but putting a fun, modern twist on it.

Just out of curiosity, what are you using to seal the drawings on the wood? They're very cute!!! I love kites!
wow they are so cute as always and love the texture from the wood, landscape backgrounds made easy...fantastic!!
